Welcome to my blog!  I’m very excited to share my life as a distracted wife, domestic engineer, mom and homeschooler with the world!  I’m glad that you stopped by!  I am as stated above, wife of 9 years to Steve, homemaker/stay at home mom/domestic engineer, mom to two energetic kiddos, my big girl Sweetie Pea age 5.75 and my little guy Honey Bee age 2.  We also started homeschooling Kindergarten 2010-11 school year, well actually they’ve been homeschooled their entire life so it was official last year 🙂

1. To cause to turn away from the original focus of attention or interest; divert.
2. To pull in conflicting emotional directions; unsettle

This describes my day to day life, I start out to do one thing and am diverted by another, it’s amazing that I get anything done?!  But by the Grace of God we make it through the day, accomplishing many things even if they aren’t quite finished because we were distracted by something else.  Some of life’s greatest moments are because of distractions that led us there, I’m here to share those with you!  I also hope to share some of my challenges and successes as a distractible mom!!

I hope you will enjoy the distractions of my life and say hello from time to time!

  1. Very fun I look forward to your other posts!

  2. Yay!! I didn’t even know you had a blog! Imagine my surprise to find this Amish Bread recipe on Pinterest and clicked through to your page my friend! Awesome!!
